Half Japanese Devon Edwenna Aoki was born August 10, 1982 and is an American model and actress. Aoki was born in New York City, and was raised in California and London, attending high school at The American School in London. Her father named Rocky Aoki, a former Olympic wrestler. Her mother, Pamela Hilburger, is a very important jewelry designer. Aoki was discovered in New York at a Rancid concert, she started modeling at the age of 13. At that age she was introduced to Kate Moss, who would later be a very important role model to Aoki. Aoki has modeled for the fashion houses Lancôme, Chanel and Versace.
