Evangeline Lilly plays Kate Austen in the hit television series Lost, but the show only provides glimpses into the real Evangeline. The Canadian-born actress is well-known for being tomboyish. She is also practical – she has signed with Ford to pay for her tuition in the University of British Columbia. She is formerly a flight attendant for Air Canada and, at age 18, she was a missionary living in the jungles of the Philippines.
